Helen Norris Entry: I Choose to Believe (2d Mixed Media)
Rice paper, acrylic paint, acrylic texture, oil pastel, India ink
This painting was the result of an intuitive session where I let the canvas lead me and followed what felt good. On the right side, I handwrote three of my mantras that start with “In my life, I am choosing to believe . . .” and this inspired the title of the piece.
One of the mantras says, “In my life, I am choosing to believe that any limitations and barriers are created by my mind and I can break through them by learning to love and trust myself.”
