I was born and raised in Seattle. I attended Seattle Central Community College. I entered the Advertising Art Program from 1973-1975. I worked mostly in the publishing production field. I moved to Kitsap County in 1986. I taught drawing to children, mostly homeschoolers. I opened a stained glass studio where I took commissions, and taught. I began painting in 2022.

I love gardens, gardening, flowers and wildlife. I am often intrigued by the way the leaves, stems, vines and blooms twist around one another, hide, and then peek out somewhere else, and continue along their way. I often wonder what small creature is comfortably resting in the security of a hedge.
