Purpose: My paintings are to put smiles on faces.

I can’t change much in this world, but in my small corner I can paint pictures that hpefully do just that. I paint to point others to whatever is good and maybe plant a seed of  hope.

When I was young, I drew a lot. My sister likes to remind me that I won a set of drawing tools in the 4th grade when my drawing was chosen.

While in college I tried a drawing class. It had nothing to do with my major. I dropped it.

As a wife and mother of two babies, I tried again. You can guess how well that went.

Finally, at 60 plus, I dusted off my husband’s abandoned easel (he has discovered being my critic and wood carving to be his purpose), picked up a brush, found a YouTube instructo and got busy.
