The Sidney Museum and Arts Association, a nonprofit organization founded in 1970, is dedicated to preserving local history and promoting local and regional artists and appreciation of fine arts. We are member driven and 100% volunteer.
Sidney Art Gallery is open most Saturdays, 11 am to 4 pm and Sundays 1 pm to 4 pm every week, Monday through Thursday from 11 am to 3 pm or 4 pm as we have available volunteers, or by appointment. Call 360-876-3693 for more information.

The Sidney Museum and Arts Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit membership organization established in 1970 that maintains the Sidney Art Gallery, the Sidney Museum and the Log Cabin Museum in Port Orchard, WA.
There is no charge, but donations are gladly accepted to help offset the cost of maintenance.

Our Still Life With a Book is shaping up to be a great time to connect with other readers in a casual and fun way. Feel free to take time to pick a spot to read. Also enjoy some coffee, tea, or a treat in a creative and historical space.
Join us for engaging presentations that explore local history, highlighting the people, places, and stories that shape our community.
We want to thank Sharron King, former chair of Fathoms ‘O Fun, for joining us at the June discussion with tales and pictures of her experiences over more than 30 years.
We are hoping to have a member of the current Fathoms board in July for more discussions.
Holiday Quilt Raffle
We are raffling this fun hand-quilted Holiday Quilt donated by Debbie Sauer. Tickets are $5 and available at the Sidney Art Gallery. Drawing will be December 19. Need not be present to win.
Sidney Art Gallery
Located a block up the hill from downtown Port Orchard and the marina, the Sidney Art Gallery is a terrific place to find artistic treasures by renowned and emerging artists. The Sidney Art Gallery features a monthly exhibition of works of Northwest artists, from brilliant stained glass to nostalgic watercolors. Creative gifts are offered for all occasions: original paintings, prints, pottery, sculptures, wood carvings, metal and iron work, blown glass and jewelry.
The Sidney Art Gallery and the Sidney Museum are generally open on Saturday from 11 am to 4 pm and Sunday from 1 pm to 4 pm, or Monday through Thursday from 11 am to 3 pm or 4 pm but we are happy to make an appointment during the week if we are not open. South Kitsap Artists Annual Exhibition
Join us in October for the South Kitsap Artists (SKA) Juried Exhibition. Excellent and eclectic artwork in six categories from the amazing South Kitsap Artists! Meet the artists at the Reception on Sunday, October 11, from 1pm – 3 pm.
Pictures with a Witch
Join us on Saturday, October 24, from 11 am to 4 pm for Pictures with a Witch at the Sidney Art Gallery. Come dressed in costume and have your picture taken with our witch and have treats!
Upcoming Exhibition
Fall/Winter and once again the Holidays!
November and December will bring seasonal artwork for fall and winter leading into holiday cards, ornaments, and unique, hand-crafted gifts from pottery and jewelry, to fine artwork and glass.
We have pictures with Santa at the Log Cabin the first two weekends in December, Don’t Panic Shopping on December 19, with holiday treats at 15% discounts.
The Sidney Museum
The Sidney Museum is located on the second floor of the Sidney Gallery building. Built in 1908, it was the first Masonic Temple building in Port Orchard. The Sidney Museum features historic photographs of Port Orchard through the ages and includes a general store, school, doctor’s office and hardware store.
Log Cabin Museum
Just up the hill, the Log Cabin Museum, built in 1914, features changing exhibits of home life in South Kitsap during the past 100 years as well as items typically used and tells the ongoing story of the resident mannequin family, the Orchards. Log Cabin is open when the open sign is out or by appointment. Call the Sidney Art Gallery at 360 876 3693 to arrange a time.
