Log Cabin Home
The Log Cabin Museum
The museum features changing exhibits of home life in South Kitsap during the past 100 years as well as items typically used and tells the ongoing story of the Orchards. The Orchard family is getting ready for the 25th anniversary of the incorporation of the City of Port Orchard. The children are battling measles and Mother Orchard is right now taking a turn upstairs where Charles and Emily are ensconced in bed, covered from head to toe with pink spots.
Again this year, the Log Cabin will be part of the Historic Home and Garden Tour (with an Art Twist) in July.
Contact the Log Cabin Museum for more information. There is no charge, but donations are gladly accepted to help offset the cost of maintenance.
